Beange becomes head of EMEA at RBC Capital Markets
RBC Capital Markets has hired Robert Beange as managing director and head of Europe, Middle East and Africa strategy. He will be based in London.
He will report to Nick Chamie, global head of emerging markets research at RBC Capital Markets. He said: “Our clients are increasingly focusing on emerging markets. As such, we are continuing to expand our global emerging markets research offering.”
RBC has hired 140 people in Europe this year, which brings the total number of Europe-based employees to over 1,000.
Before, Beange was an FX strategist at JP Morgan. He has also worked as an emerging markets economist and UK economist at Lehman Brothers.
