Eurex's volume rises 25% while ISE's slides 33%


An average daily volume of 10.9m contracts were traded at Eurex and International Securities Exchange’s derivatives markets in June, a 2% year-on-year rise on June 2009’s 10.7m. The majority of this was traded on Eurex, on which 8.3m contracts were traded, up 25%. Another 2.6m were traded at the ISE, a 33% fall.
