Instinet adds F&O functionality to Newport
Instinet, the electronic trading and agency-only brokerage services provider, has added US listed options and futures trading functionality to Newport 3 execution management system this week.
The introduction of the new functionality will allow clients to access a multi-asset, broker-neutral EMS in addition to the firm’s US derivatives trading desk.
Futures and options trading technology is now fully integrated within Instinet’s EMS, following the rollout of options functionality earlier this year.
Earlier this month Instinet launched its CBX dark pool for listed US options, which it claims is suitable for clients trading all order sizes, not just block trades.
