The Options Clearing Corporation said yesterday (September 1) that 284m equity-related options were traded on the eight US options exchanges in August, down 1% year on year. On an average daily volume basis, trading was 5% lower at 12.9m.
For this year so far, ADV is 15.3m contracts, up 6% year on year.
