TickIt has a strong name in the automated algorithmic futures trading market, and its latest product – the Algo Design Lab – fought through a tough crowd to win in the trading and execution category this year. TickIt was acquired by Trading Technologies in June 2010.
Launched in January 2010, the software has enjoyed strong take-up, winning a plethora of awards Stateside and enjoying widespread praise from market participants. “If widely deployed, it could actually change trading as we know it. It has a great deal of potential,” as US tech analyst Rob Enderle put it.
