CFTC u-turn over Dodd-Frank deadline

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has agreed on a proposal to delay to the implementation of several of the Dodd-Frank rules by six months.
In a public meeting of the five-man CFTC commissioner panel, the US regulator agreed to delay rules which the Dodd-Frank had mandated to be written and implemented by July 16, having admitted the US watchdog would miss the deadline.
