Asia falls on North Korea uncertainty


The death of North Korea's leader has driven falls across Asian markets.

After the announcement of Kim Jong-il’s death, traders moved to the US dollar leading to a fall in equities and South Korea’s won.

An increased possibility of the nuclear-armed, communist state collapsing triggered an immediate sell-off.  Analysts, basing their predictions on the reaction to Kim Il-sung's death in 1994, are expecting a heavy sell-off that will take months to recover....
