Standard & Poor's drops CME's rating

Ratings agency Standard & Poor's has lowered its long-term issuer credit rating on CME Group.

The rating was dropped from AA to AA- with S&P affirming its A-1+ short-term rating on the company.

The outlook on the long-term rating was rated negative.
